FESTIVAL READY: Must-Have Styles You Need To Complete Your Look

Music festival season is here! Tickets, check. Accommodations, check. Outfit?  We’ve got you sorted with JD’s very own curated Festival Edit collection to style you up for the weekend;

#1 Easy, breezy and bright-coloured outfits

You’d definitely wanna wear something comfy while rockin’ out to your favourite bands but still lookin’ stylish for that #ootd posts. Skip your usual B&W shirts and stand out with bright top and shorts. Plus, dress it up just like the celebs at Coachella by pairing a bikini top with cycling shorts. From crop tops to jersey shorts, we’ve got the best summer-inspired styles, for men and women, that will make the perfect ‘fit for the upcoming music festivals.

#2 Comfy sneaks/slides

A good pair of comfy kicks is highly needed as you’ll be on your feet most of the time during the festival. Go for lightweight sneaks like Converse or if you don’t want to risk your fave pair of shoes, opt for a pair of  slides instead. Tip: Don’t forget to spray on water-resistant spray (hint: Crep Protect ) your shoes before you leave for the festival!

#3 Waist Bag

The fanny pack trend is back for a reason! Be it a waist bag or even a sling pouch, all you need is your most important essentials (tickets, phone, I/C card, cash, tissue packet) with you kept securely in a bag that won’t drag you down. “Less is more” rule definitely applies here, so don’t over-pack. Check out our collection of waist bag here!

#4 Bucket Hat

We all know Malaysian weather can be unpredictable, hence it’s best to come prepared! As most festivals do not allow concert-goers to bring in umbrellas, a cap or a bucket hat will do just the trick to help you stay covered (plus, it’s a more stylish option!). Pop it up with Nike Festival Reversible Bucket Hat or keep it minimal like the adidas Originals Trefoil Bucket Hat. Rain-soaking hair and sunburns will be the least of your worries with these on ya!
